WHAT IS STERLING SILVER?

Sterling silver is a silver alloy containing 92.5% of silver and 7.5% of other metals, such as copper.  Pure silver is too soft to produce jewelry so the copper alloy gives the metal strength.

 

CARING FOR STERLING SILVER

Tarnishing occurs when the sterling silver is exposed to the gases in the air.  When your jewelry is not in use it is best to store it in tarnish-prevention cloths or bags in a cool, dry place.  Storing the silver in tissue should also help prevent tarnishing. The easiest way is to bring back the brilliant shine of the sterling silver is to polish with a rouge cloth. We can dip the pieces in a coating of pure silver to prevent the tarnishing – at an additional cost (the cost for this service varies.  Please contact us for price quotes, if interested.)

 

HOW DO I DETERMINE MY RING SIZE?

Measure the circumference of the base of the ring finger with something flexible (i.e., paper, string) that is at least 4” long.  Mark the paper or string where it meets.  Lay out the paper/string on a ruler.  Refer to this chart to determine ring size:

WHY DO PRICES CHANGE?

We buy our jewelry at prices that are pegged to the international silver markets.  At the present time silver is being traded at $37/ounce.  We will adjust our pricing in the event that silver either drops or raises significantly.

 

DO I HAVE TO PAY SALES TAX?

No tax is computed for any business that has a valid resale certificate. Any New York resident without proper documentation will be charged the appropriate NYC tax.


SHIPPING

 PAZ COLLECTIVE jewelry is shipped UPS GROUND INSURED from our New York City office. Please note, we are unable to ship to a P.O. Box.


DELIVERY TIME

A PAZ COLLECTIVE representative will advise you on the status of your order. Backorders are shipped to you at no shipping or handling cost.

 

RETURN POLICY

In the event that an item is received damaged or breaks due to normal use, we will replace or repair it.  Please contact PAZ COLLECTIVE office for a Return Authorization Number (jewelry returned without the RA number cannot be accepted). 

NOTE:  Shipping costs cannot be refunded.
